An extensive set of engaging resources to support the development of knowledge, understanding, and analysis of the News, with a specific focus on TV News and News Websites. The resources include a range of interactive and printable activities that relate to the study of News in Unit 1 of the GCSE specification. All areas of the media framework are explored through contemporary examples and case studies. These resources facilitate the study of News texts considering media language, representations, media organisations and audiences.
While all resources were correct at the time of publishing, teachers should be aware that things move quickly in the media industry and should therefore check that the information is still current and correct.
